Shipping, timing, and what to expect from your pharmacy
4 min read
Your order moves through clinical review, then pharmacy processing, then shipping, and the exact timing for your order is shown in your account.
What this article covers
This article explains the general sequence your order follows, from clinical review to delivery, and what to do about delays or shipping issues. It does not promise specific delivery windows. For your specific situation, message your clinician through the portal.
Important
This article is general education, not medical advice for you specifically. It does not replace the guidance of your RxPros clinician. If any information here seems to conflict with what your clinician has told you, follow your clinician's guidance and message them through the portal.
Refills, monitoring, and follow-up are clinical decisions made by your clinician on a case-by-case basis. Approvals are not automatic. Timing, pricing, and shipping estimates are general — your account and messages contain the specifics for your treatment plan.
The short answer
Your order moves through clinical review, then pharmacy processing, then shipping, and the exact timing for your order is shown in your account.
What is the general order sequence?
Every order follows the same general path:
- Clinical review. Your clinician reviews your check-in and approves your refill.
- Pharmacy processing. The pharmacy partner prepares and packages your medication.
- Shipping. The package ships to the address on file and moves through the carrier's network.
Your account shows which stage your current order is in.
Why does requesting a refill early help?
Requesting your refill review a few days before you run out gives your clinician and the pharmacy time to complete each step without rushing. It also creates a buffer if a check-in needs follow-up before approval. Waiting until you're out of medication removes that buffer.
How should I store my medication when it arrives?
Check your prescription label for specific storage instructions as soon as your package arrives. Most GLP-1 medications need refrigeration. If a package sat in extreme heat or cold during transit, message support before using the medication so the situation can be reviewed.
What should I do if my package is delayed, lost, or arrives damaged?
Message support through the portal with your order details. Support can look into the shipment status, coordinate with the pharmacy or carrier, and help arrange a replacement if needed. Do not use a package that arrives visibly damaged or leaking.
How do I update my shipping address or delivery preferences?
Update your address and delivery preferences in your account settings before your next order is processed. If an order has already shipped, message support right away, since redirecting an in-transit package is not always possible.
When this may not apply to you
- You are traveling when a delivery is expected → see the traveling-with-your-medication article and message support in advance.
- Your address recently changed and you're not sure the update was saved → message support to confirm before your next shipment.
- Your package requires a signature and you won't be available → message support to arrange an alternative.
