Understanding your bill, your plan, and what you're paying for

5 min read

Your bill generally covers clinician time, medication, pharmacy processing, and shipping, and your account shows the exact charges and dates that apply to your plan.

What this article covers

This article explains the general components of your bill, how billing cadence works, and how to manage your plan, including cancellation. It does not list specific prices. For your specific situation, message your clinician through the portal, or support for billing questions.

Important

This article is general education, not medical advice for you specifically. It does not replace the guidance of your RxPros clinician. If any information here seems to conflict with what your clinician has told you, follow your clinician's guidance and message them through the portal.

Refills, monitoring, and follow-up are clinical decisions made by your clinician on a case-by-case basis. Approvals are not automatic. Timing, pricing, and shipping estimates are general — your account and messages contain the specifics for your treatment plan.

The short answer

Your bill generally covers clinician time, medication, pharmacy processing, and shipping, and your account shows the exact charges and dates that apply to your plan.

What am I generally paying for?

Charges are generally associated with a combination of:

  • Clinician time, including intake, check-ins, and ongoing review.
  • Medication, as dispensed by the pharmacy partner.
  • Pharmacy processing, the work of preparing and packaging your prescription.
  • Shipping, getting your package to your address.

Your account breaks down the specific charges tied to your plan.

How does billing cadence work?

Billing cadence depends on your specific plan, and details are shown in your account. In general, charges are tied to your treatment cycle, such as each refill period, rather than a single one-time payment.

How do I see what I've been charged?

Your account includes a billing history section showing past charges, dates, and amounts. Message support if a charge on your account is unclear or looks incorrect.

How do I update my payment method?

Update your payment method directly in your account settings. Keeping your payment method current helps avoid delays in processing your next refill.

How do I cancel, and what happens when I do?

To cancel, go to your account settings and follow the cancellation steps shown there, or message support for help completing the process. Cancellation stops future billing and order processing according to the terms shown in your account at the time you cancel.

How do I pause instead of canceling?

If you want a temporary break rather than a full cancellation, message support to ask about pausing your plan. Pausing and canceling are different options with different effects on your account and billing.

What if I think I was charged incorrectly and want a refund?

Message support with the details of the charge in question. Refunds and billing adjustments are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and support can give you a general timeline for review once your request is submitted.

When this may not apply to you

  • You are disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer → message support first, since this can affect how a dispute is resolved.
  • You are canceling due to a side effect you haven't reported → message your clinician about the side effect in addition to handling the billing side.
  • Your plan includes add-on services not covered generally in this article → check your account for the specific terms of your plan.
