The short answer

The medication associated with your RxPros account is prescribed by an independent licensed provider and dispensed by a licensed pharmacy. The details of your prescription, including the medication and dosing instructions, are available in your secure account.

What is the active ingredient in my medication?

Your prescription label and your account show the specific active ingredient and strength prescribed to you. Your clinician selects this based on your intake, health history, and goals. If you are unsure what is listed on your label, message your clinician through the portal.

How is my medication prepared?

Your treatment begins with an independent licensed clinician reviewing the information you provide and, when medically appropriate, issuing a prescription based on your individual needs. The prescription is then filled and dispensed by a licensed pharmacy.

Who is involved in getting my medication to me?

Three parties are generally involved:

• Your clinician, who reviews your history and writes your prescription.
• The compounding pharmacy partner, is a licensed compunding pharmacy that prepares and dispenses your medication.
• The shipping carrier, who delivers the sealed package to your address on file.

Your account shows the specific pharmacy partner associated with your current prescription.

How should I store my medication?

We recommend storing GLP-1 medication refrigerated at 36°F–46°F (2°C–8°C) to help maintain maximum shelf life and efficacy. Brief temperature changes that may occur during shipping or travel do not necessarily make the medication unsafe or ineffective. Always follow the storage instructions on the pharmacy label and contact the dispensing pharmacy if you have concerns about prolonged heat exposure, freezing, or the medication’s appearance.

Will my medication always look and come from the same place?

Pharmacy partners and formulation details can change over time as part of RxPros's clinical and supply operations. If a change affects your prescription, your account and portal messages will reflect the update.
